High-temperature graphite purification purification method introduced
Graphite is one of the highest boiling point substances in nature melting, melting at 3 850 ± 50 ℃, boiling point is 4 500 ℃, and the boiling point of silicate minerals are 2 750 ℃ (quartz boiling point) or less, well above the boiling point of graphite impurities contained in the boiling point of the silicate. This feature is the basis of high-temperature purified graphite reason perish.
The graphite powder directly into a graphite crucible and heated in inert gas and freon protective gas purification furnace to 2 300-3 000 ℃, a period of time, impurities in the graphite will overflow to achieve graphite purification. High-temperature method commonly used by flotation or more chemically purified 99% of the carbon-carbon graphite as raw material, can be purified graphite to 99.99%, for example, by further improving the process conditions, improve the crucible quality, purity up to 99.995% the above.
High-temperature method can produce more than 99.99% of ultra-pure graphite, but requires to be fixed carbon materials in more than 99 percent, and the equipment is expensive, the huge investment, production scale has limited electric heating technology is demanding and require isolation from the air, or else graphite when the temperature was raised to 450 ℃ in hot air begins to be oxidized, the higher the temperature, the greater the loss of graphite. Only very high quality graphite specific industries (such as defense, aerospace, etc.) using the high-temperature method for small batch production of high-purity graphite.
A lot of research and production practice show that, in many purification methods graphite, although the advantages and disadvantages, but alkali acid method because the production process is simple, easy production environment, lower production costs, does not produce toxic and hazardous waste, conventional waste fluid handling easier and more advantageous features. After roasting and leaching ore solve shorten time, improve the purification effect, to properly resolve issues such as waste water treatment, alkaline acid method may well be the best way to purify graphite industrial production.

(4) Carbon and graphite products: mainly used for heat-resistant refractory, insulation materials, conductive and resistive materials, lubrication and antifriction materials, corrosion-resistant materials, containers and molds. Description
graphite Part is formed for use in a wide variety of manufactured parts benefiting the automotive, aerospace, semiconductor, chemical, metallurgical, nuclear and electronics industries. It is usually the result of a copper and pure graphite composite, creating a material that is both structurally sound and reliable. Copper graphite is expensive, but it has improved conductivity and strength compared to pure graphite. Other metallic graphite mixtures may be used but may prove less effective.
Formed methods
Special materials can be processed by pressing components directly close to final sizes. The press-to-size-technology reduces the cost of machining in large quantities. The parts formed by this way are called Press-to-size graphite Parts.
Most of graphite Parts manufactured are by mechanical machining, such as Saws, Turning, Milling, Centerless Grinding, Surface Grinding, Optical Tolerances, CNC machining centers, CNC turning centers, etc. The parts formed by this way are called Machined graphite Parts.

Special graphite crucible for vacuum coating is applied to the aluminium evaporation gasification on CPP, PET, BOPP in vacuum to produce aluminum composite foil. It is a large consumption of components which must be used in the production process. The quality of graphite crucible can decide the length of working life and directly affect the product quality and the production cost of aluminum foil.
We have anti oxidation and anti leakage treatment of graphite material, greatly improves the oxidation resistance of graphite crucible, bulk density, flexural strength and compressive strength, enhanced corrosion resistance, hardness, lower porosity and permeability, greatly weakened the molten aluminum and gaseous aluminum molecular erosion ability and prolong the working life. Quality of graphite crucible for vacuum coating has been greatly improved. The antioxidant, no overflow, no crack, no leakage aluminizing, the evaporation is good, the working life is long, the average furnace reached 18600 meters / roll 50 - 60 furnace, 24000 meters / roll 40 - 50 furnace , the production of 12500 meters/roll, 10000 meters/roll, 9000 meters/roll, 5000 meters/roll, times of furnace have greatly improved.

graphite crucible
A crucible is a container used to hold metal for melting in a furnace and it is needed to withstand the extreme temperatures encountered in melting metals. The crucible material must have a much higher melting point than that of the metal being melted and it must have good strength even when white hot.
Graphite crucible can withstand the high temperature, and has good resistance to chemical erosions and thermal shock. Especially graphite crucible is ideal for the melting of aluminum, copper and other metals.
Quartz crucible has the advantages of high purity ,high temperature resistance, with big size ,good thermal insulation, economization on energy ,quality stability etc.
Fused quartz crucibles are used in the manufacture of silicon metal for semiconductor wafer applications and polysilicon. In order to produce high quality wafers, starting materials are added to a crucible heated to high temperatures and pulled from the melt as a single crystal. Fused Quartz is one of the few materials that can combine the high purity and high temperature properties required for this process.
